Charlie (The Webmaster)

Charlie
Hi, my name’s Charlie Bartlett and started this blog (back in 2006 but got more “professional” it in 2008) to document all of the information that might be useful for any teenager growing up. This includes any movies, music, facts, and videos that have shaped who I am today. I’m no longer a teenager but I like to keep the blog relevant with guest bloggers in high school and college.

I feel that it’s important to share all the things I’ve learned about drugs, sex, music, religion, other cultures, etc. because that’s what they don’t teach us in school, and ironically, that’s what life is about. Over the years of expressing myself on here I’ve realized that I’m STILL CONFUSED AS FUCK but I’ll try to organize my thoughts as best i can through this blog and help shape other’s viewpoints. This blog isn’t just for teens (although that’s what the majority of my posts will be about) but for anyone that is open minded. Feel free to post any comments or suggestions I READ THEM ALL.

Hopefully this site will shake the foundation of the core beliefs you were born with and let you come up with your own ideas instead of going along with what the media, school, and your parents tell you.

Libbers
So, they call me Libby. Tennis is my sport, I’ve been playing it since I can remember. I also write, not just blogs, but pieces of literature like poetry and stories. I’m from the city of Albany, and the town that you don’t need to know the name of. I’m a firm believer in everything happening for a reason and, that lasting impressions are more important than the first ones.

Contributing to this blog is a venting mechanism and also a way to share stuff with people, you know, open their eyes to how the world really is, at least according to the point of view of the average teenage girl. Enjoy :)

(Libbers also writes on her own blog http://libberrs.blogspot.com/)

I’m 17, just turned 17, I’m studying Criminal Justice at a vo/tech school, along with the other subjects. My life right now, revolves around video games, music, and writing. Everyone’s trying to get me to go to college, but I’m just not college bound. I’m a dreamer, I love pop culture of the past ’40s years. I spend the time I’m not hanging with my friends observing other people, especially my teachers. I scope them out before I find the ones who’ll let me skip. I’m just at a point in life where I don’t know what’s happening or going to happen…

I have many names, but you may refer to me as Lawrence if you like. Sports are what i live for, music is my passion, and advice has been what I’ve been doing for the last 10 years of my life. If you can think of a horrible situation, I’ve been through it.

Terrible relationships? I’ve been on either side. Horrid breakups? My specialty from any angle. Family problems? I lived through them. Writing for this blog is my way to help others avoid terrible mistakes I’ve made, and maybe offer different perspectives on somethings you may take for granted.

I’m from the 80’s, 90’s and today. I grew up watching Fraggle Rock and Kids, Inc. on Disney, Snick and Double Dare on Nickelodeon (back when it was actually cool). I don’t watch as much TV as when I was a kid but still enjoy certain shows to a degree; Mad Men, My Life as Liz, The Office, The City to name a few.

I’m a skater, but not a skateboarder. I’m extremely nostalgic, to the point where it could be a bad thing. I enjoy certain blogs and magazines (Lesley Arfin, Vice Magazine, One Magazine), also try and read books whenever I have the right mindset. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I’m an observer. My favorite movie is American Graffiti, favorite song is Wake Up by Arcade Fire, favorite book is On The Road, and my favorite place is New York City.
