Hands down My So-Called Life was one of the greatest teen shows of the 90s (if not THE best). I don’t even care if the main character was a girl, this show ROCKED! It was one of the greatest of it’s time because it was one of the first American shows to REALISTICALLY address things like drugs, sex, homosexuality, depression, etc. Sure, that gay-ass Degrassi show TRIED but, of course, it was cheesy as hell. Plus, this show was made back in 1994 so it’s AUTOMATICALLY cool. Unfortunately, there was never a second season, but you can download all of the first season below in HQ or watch it online if you’re a member.

hehe this show was made in 1994 so its “AUTOMATICALLY cool” eh? Well i was made in 1994 as well and i agree with you there, since i am pretty freaking awesome. haha that was my attempt at a joke, i hope you laughed or at least smiled at my lameness
i watched the show (btw im pretty darn sure you know who i am and if you havent figured it out, well im the chick that constantly emails you complaining about my teenage life and dramatic problems that really arent that dramatic haha). So anyways much like you suggested, i watched the first episode, haha loooooved it, it made my day. Actually have you ever seen that one show called “Popular”. It had Carly Pope, and Leslie Bibb in it. haha it was one of my favorites when i used to see re-runs of it on tv in 2008. Anyways yeah the first episode of Popular really ripped off the first episode of My So Called Life. I could not believe it, like it was almost sad how much they copied the show and i never knew that until now.

oh, I remember watching the first episode of Popular and being like “WTF? this is such a rip-off of other shows!” Then again, I saw an episode of Degrassi (I hate that show too) that was almost EXACTLY like an episode of One Tree Hill I saw… it even had the same type of party scene with the same type of “date rape drug” used in the plot.
