Bill Maher is probably the most famous celebrity-atheist and one of my heroes. In this documentary he goes around to some of the most religious places and reveals all the hypocrisy of the people there. This is one of those movies that can turn an agnostic into an atheist. I wish I would have seen something like this years ago.

I never actually watched this movie because a lot of people I know were disappointed that Maher made jokes when he could have made serious points. He’s a comedian… but now I might actually watch it.

@Makavelli: actually I think there are points in the movie where he could have gone a lot more over the top…but i guess if yo want to convince people u gotta find a middle ground.
the crazy thing about this movie is that Bill Maher and his team told everyone involved that they were filming “a religious documentary” and made up a fake name for it (that’s how they got into so many places) and most of the time Maher had to be in a different location because the religious community had a close eye on him
