I may have mentioned before that I would quit this site when I turned 20. Well, THAT WAS A STUPID IDEA. So not only am I NOT doing that, but I’ve also hired a couple extra writers to help out with the site. I’m looking for a couple more to help out with music posts (sharing full albums and individual songs) so if you think you got what it takes then comment/shoot me an email.

Well, it’s a bit late to be mentioning it, but I’ve had a lot of things on my plate this past week. I worked on my birthday (the 20th) and had other things personal things to take care of. Hell, I’m not even having my party with my friends until tomorrow. To be honest, I wasn’t really that excited about turning 20…I’d rather just skip being 20 and be 21, but that’s just me.
So anyways, now that I’m not a teenager anymore it got me thinking of how much I’ve changed since I was a freshmen in high school….and how much I might change after I graduate from college. So here’s a list of things that have changed/not changed…
It’s 2:23AM and I’ve got work in 8 hours. Just thought I’d let you know that I won’t have time for this month’s newsletter since I’m working all week. grimgal22 won this month’s free Rapidshare.com account with her WHOPPING 6 comments (seriously peeps? we’re getting twice as many visitors these days and half as many comments). As for all the requests, I’ll try to get them done by Friday, but no guarantees.
Oooooooooh thank you god! (even though I don’t believe in you). The comments are baaack! I don’t know what the hell I did, but I’ve been trying for the past month to get the comments back. I’m really sorry for the lack of updates, but as I stated in my last post, I’ve had final exams to take care of. I PROMISE I’ll make it up to all you registered users in the next newsletter (it’ll be coming out soon).
Really, I shouldn’t even be typing this right now since I’ve got to pack up all my shit at my dorm to move out tomorrow. That’s right kids, Charlie is going home for the summer (and I’m probably going to hate every minute of it).

Good news peepz! Obviously we have a new look and I started a newsletter (it’s called F’ing Newsletter for real)! I thought about doing monthly Site News posts to keep you guys posted about my life and re-cap the previous month, but then this newsletter thought occurred to me and well, lemme just say I think it’s GENIUS! This way this blog can be more personalized for you faithful readers out there. So you may be asking the question “OMG!!! THIS IS SOO GREAT HOW DO I SIGN UP?!!” But really, if you’re registered then you’re automatically added. So if you haven’t done so by now REGISTER!
In other news, grimgal22 is the winner of the FREE Rapidshare Account contest for this month. Keep those comments up! I’m also trying to figure out how to enable you guys to have avatars so you can kind of “see” each other when you comment (even if it’s just some cartoon). Sorry about not granting advice or requests as fast as usual, but school is a bitch right now. I’ll be sure to get back to the swing of things when finals are over.

First of all, I’d like to apologize to all the guy and gal readers (there are still about 200 of you left) and thank you for hanging on while I let this site rot for a few months. Unfortunately, I’m not the most tech savvy blogger and while I was away on vacation the blog somehow went down.
Well, that was back in August and now it’s October. Time flys by when you’ve got Mid-Terms and Essays due in college, but now I’ve got my time managed well so I PROMISE 2 posts a week MINIMUM (you can make angry comments and send hate mail if that doesn’t happen lol). As some of you old readers can tell, I had to relocate the blog on /theblog instead of /blog because the old one got corrupted.
Rapidshare Contest & Broken Links
As I TRIED to do before, I’m going to re-implement the rapidshare contest (I’ll give away a free account to whoever comments the most [btw u HAVE to use your real email or how will I contact u?]) come November 1st. ALSO, if you find any broken links, KINDLY leave a comment and I’ll try to fix it within the week.
Well, g2g now I’m in Film 2700 class and we’re watching the overrated Casablanca (what do I know, I’m not really giving it a chance). Look forward to more songs and movies. For the most part I’m going to focus on the taboo subject of sex (OH NO!), so be prepared!
Hi, my name’s Charlie Bartlett and started this blog (back in 2006 but got more “professional” it in 2008) to document all of the information that might be useful for any teenager growing up. This includes any movies, music, facts, and videos that have shaped who I am today. I’ll continue to post to this blog until I’m no longer a teenager then I’ll probably end up giving it to someone else to pick up where I left off.
I feel that it’s important to share all the things I’ve learned about drugs, sex, music, religion, other cultures, etc. because that’s what they don’t teach us in school, and ironically, that’s what life is about. This blog isn’t about just any teen movies or albums, this is about the ones that I deem most important. (Of course, I’ll also try to fulfill requests) I’m currently nearing the end of my teenage years and I’ve realized that I’m STILL CONFUSED AS FUCK. But I’ll try to organize my thoughts as best i can through this blog and help shape other’s viewpoints. This blog isn’t just for teens (although that’s what the majority of my posts will be about) but for anyone that is open minded. Feel free to post any comments or suggestions (yes i know I need a new design but I’m broke so what do you expect?) I READ THEM ALL.
Hopefully this site will shake the foundation of the core beliefs you were born with and let you come up with your own ideas instead of going along with what the media, school, and your parents tell you.
